WEEK 5

Day 21 (12/12/2022, Monday)

Started the day with continuing work on the voice lines and I finished editing and putting them in-engine. I looked for more SFX for walking and failed. Guess we are stuck with the sloppy footsteps. We then prepared for the weekly sprint review until lunch and right before we officially changed the name from "Morris & his Mortality Rate" to "Morris: Mortality Rate". After we held the sprint, André and I went to record more voice lines and now I know that I have more to do for tomorrow. 

Day 22 (13/12/2022, Tuesday)

Was a half day for me but after I got in, I continued on the voice lines and got all the voice lines done and in-engine. David finished generation! (Only took 4 weeks and 2 days, poor guy). But as we were testing the procedural generation, we found that the rooms were not aligned correctly and so we had to fix each room and Linus taught me how to do that. We have a lot to do due the the misalignment. 

Day 23 (14/12/2022, Wednesday)

Today the team focused on optimizing the game. With the help of the programmers, I added tiny feedback things like camera shake and UI reaction if or when the player took damage. Then I created sound cues for all the voice lines so they can play a random conditional voice on event trigger. 

Day 24 (15/12/2022, Thursday)

I had to take the day of as I had an appointment passport appointment.

Day 25 (16/12/2022, Friday)

We had all the general levels but we wanted to make something special for the boss room, which needed to be larger than other levels and also had to be chess themes (R.O.N.N.I.E likes chess). So, I spent most of the day conversing with the artists and making a chess room based on a previous famous chess matches. Quite excited to see how it turns out.
